My Trip to Japan

June 10, 2022 Friday

Today I am going to Japan! I reached the airport at night so I slept on the plane. In the morning I was in Japan! We took a train to my auntie's house. My daddy worked and I played with Daadi. Then we partied in the house.

June 11, 2022 Saturday

I woke up and ate French toast and Toy Story sausages for breakfast. Then my dad took me to the government building, but it was closed. Then we went to Tanvi and Tabsi's house. I played a board game there. Then I had lunch with lunch with Tanvi, Tabsi, and ,my dad. Then Hari came and we went to the playground and came back for ice cream. Then I said good-bye and I went to a sumo wrestling arena and ate okomiyaki. It was so delicious!

June 12, 2022 Sunday

Today the plan was to meet daddy's friends at the park. We tried to go to a pancake house, but the queue was too long so we bought some bread from a bakery and we ate it at the park.

Then we went to Meiji Shrine, we prayed and I got a protection charm. Then I got my fortune. It says to care for my parents. My daddy's fortune was to not yell when I did something bad.

We met daddy's friends and we talked and talked.

For dinner I had sushi. After dinner I went to a public bathhouse.

June 13, 2022 Monday

I went to Maasi Rachna's house for lunch. Daddy missed the train station and we were late.

Maasi Rachna's balcony had a nice view. I can see the Tokyo Tower and the SkyTree.

I first talked to Maasi Rachna's mom and dad, then did my math homework and then ate lunch. After lunch we played a game.

Then I went to Ginza with my daddy and went to a toy store. At night we had dinner with my Daadi.

June 14, 2022 Tuesday

I went to Odaiba. I took a monorail there. I saw the Statue of Liberty. I played old-time games that daddy used to play when he was a kid.

When we went to Tokyo American Club I saw Uncle Vik. While daddy and Uncle Vik talked, I bowled. We went to a restaurant called Rainbow Café and we met Uncle Ban there. We also had dinner there.

June 15, 2022 Wednesday

I woke up early to catch a plane to Fukui. Then I took a bus to Kanazawa. I went to a ninja temple and it is called that because it has traps. Then we walked through a garden called Kenrokuen. It was a nice garden because it had lots of pine trees.

For lunch I had Nodokuro (black throat) fish. I ate it with rice then I ate it with soup. It was delicious.

I took a train to Katsuyama. That is where Dino Park is. I stayed at a 400 year old samurai house. For dinner I had a Japanese dinner in small plates. I took a bath to get ready for tomorrow.

June 16, 2022 Thursday

For breakfast I had fish, seaweed, rice, and miso soup. We left and took a bus to Dino Park. At Dino Park I played on a long slide and on the flying dino. We went to the Dino Museum, it had lots of fossils. Then we went to the Dino Forest, I saw lots of full size dinos! My favorite was the utahraptor.

We went to the fossil hunt, there were lots of fossils. They were hard to break but I found one fossil. The fossil was 120 million years old!

Then I took a bullet train to Hiroshima. That was my first time riding a bullet train.

June 17, 2022 Friday

Today I woke up very early and ate breakfast. We went to Peace Park. It is where the atomic bomb dropped. I saw pictures of people hurt. It was very very very scary. I think atomic bombs should not be dropped on people.

We went to Miyajima. Daadu's bones were scattered there. On Miyajima, we went to an aquarium. I saw a seal show and penguins.

We went to Iwakuni, it was where my dad was born. I saw my dad's house, Daadu's shop and Kintai Bridge.

Then we took a plane to Tokyo.

June 18, 2022 Saturday

I had breakfast at a restaurant called Butter. I ate fluffy pancakes.

I went to a park. I played on the swings, slides, and monkey bars.

After my homework I went to Ueno Zoo. I saw penguins, polar bears, rhinos, giraffes, and a Japanese macaque.

I had an early dinner out at TGI Fridays.

June 19, 2022 Sunday

While daddy went shopping I played with Daadi. Then me, daddy, and Daadi went to a restaurant with Hari. In the evening I went to Tokyo SkyTree and ate curry there.

June 20, 2022 Monday

I woke up and went to DisneySea! I took a train to Disney, then I took a monorail. I saw a globe on the water. Than I took Photos with Mickey. Then I rode a ride called "The flying carpet." Then I rode Sindbad's Adventure. I rode a sort monorail. I saw Pluto and Donald Duck. Then I rode on a ride called Toy Story Mania. At the end I got a bunny prize. On the to more rides I took photos with Mr. Incredible. I rode on two rides called Maritime Observatory and Aquatopia.

I went shopping for my friends and ate pizza for dinner.
