A Day at Sentosa

On Thursday, I went to Sentosa with my dad and my friend Reia.

First, we took the monorail to Imbiah Station. We walked , walked ,walked ,and walked up, up, up, and up to Imbiah Lookout.

We wanted to ride the Sky Helix, but there was no open slot so we could not ride it. Then we went to the Luge Ride and bought tickets for 2:00. While we were waiting we walked through the nature trail. We saw the Oriental Magpie Robin. It was singing a song! I think it was trying to attract a mate.

We also went to Imbiah battery. It was a big gun used in WW2.

We came back to the Luge Ride area and we ate lunch. I ate a teriyaki sandwich and Reia ate a roast beef sandwich. It was delicious!

Then we went to the Luge Ride. First we learned how to use the luge machine. To use the machine, you push forward to go and pull back to stop. We raced once and I won!

After we went down the hill, we took the Sky lift to the top of the hill. Then we raced again and I won again!

Instead of taking the Sky lift, we went to the beach. Both Reia and I played in the sand. While we were playing in the sand, I found a piece of dead coral.

After we cleaned up, we ate French fries. Then we took the Sentosa Express and the MRT back home.

It was the best day I ever had in Sentosa! I want to go back so that I can do the Sky Helix.
